I just wanted to make this post as a little heart-to-heart to all of you who have trusted me with your beautiful faces over the last few years-- and all those future faces that I can't wait to get my hands on! Microblading is not an easy art form to learn, but you have all shown me time and again that my perseverance has been worth it.
One of my biggest challenges at Aura is scheduling and how to make it convenient and effective for everyone to get an appointment in a timely fashion. Also because I am working steadily each day with clients it becomes challenging for me to catch up on calls in a timely manner.
In this line of work it is not easy to teach a receptionist how to answer all of the insider questions that a client may have when they are inquiring. Because of this I have always felt more at ease speaking to each one of my clients and scheduling them according to what I feel is fit for their specific needs. With all of that being said, I have maintained being a one-woman show for a few years now, and I like that! It keeps me feeling in control of a process that is incredibly important to me, as well as my clients.
In an effort to stay focused on my clients that are scheduled and coming in each day, I have decided to implement a new scheduling policy that will require clients to book online. Of course, I am always happy to guide those who are not good at using a computers through the process. But this also means I will not be scheduling through social media, phone, or email any longer. My hopes are that this new implementation will be helpful in taking over reception duties for me giving me more time to take in clients. For those of you who have questions and want to talk, of course you can still always call me and I will return you call as soon as possible!
